Deborah Willis
Deborah Willis is chair of the Department of Photography and Imaging at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Her books include Early Black Photographers: 1840 to 1940 and Picturing Us: African American Identity in Photography, both published by The New Press. She lives in New York.
