Farai Chideya

Farai Chideya is an award-winning journalist, a professor, and a lecturer, currently serving as Distinguished Writer in Residence at New York University. She has hosted NPR’s News and Notes and has been a reporter for ABC News and a political analyst for CNN. She partners with Public Radio International for One with Farai, a series of extended interviews with world changers. She is the author of The Right Work: The Future of American Jobs and the Rise of the Episodic Career, Trust: Reaching the 100 Million Missing Voters, The Color of Our Future: Race in the 21st Century, and Don’t Believe the Hype: Still Fighting Cultural Misinformation About African Americans (The New Press). She lives in New York.
