Linda Nochlin
Linda Nochlin is one of the country’s leading art critics, specializing in the art of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, particularly on issues concerning the representation of women and the work of women artists. Among her numerous books are Realism and Women, Art, and Power and Other Essays. She is the Lila Acheson Wallace Professor of Modern Art at the Institute of Fine Arts of New York University.
